The Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa is a 4-star hotel that’s within easy walking distance of the Whistler Bike Park in summer and ski gondolas in winter.

Conveniently located at 4050 Whistler Way, it’s a great place to stay! We spent a night there in the summer of 2022 and loved it! We had a premium studio which had a King-sized bed, pull-out sofa bed, balcony, fireplace and kitchenette. The room was really nice. In the bathroom there was also a jetted bathtub.

The Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is a luxury, family-friendly hotel. It’s pet friendly too! Located close to the centre of Whistler Village, the main entrance to the hotel faces the Whistler driving range. The interior of the hotel and the lobby area are inviting, and the hotel rooms are modern-looking with their most recent renovation in 2018.

When one of our staff members stayed at the Hilton Whistler a few years ago they also had a great time! They found the rooms were spacious and clean, and they came with all of the amenities needed for a long or short stay. They too got a studio suite which came with a kitchenette including a small stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The room also contained other kitchen supplies such as a coffee maker, kettle, plates, cups and cutlery – anything you would need. The hotel also boasts guaranteed connecting rooms which is great if you are travelling as a family or a group and want extra space but still close to one another.

The Hilton Whistler is located at 4050 Whistler Way within the Village Centre. This is less than a 5-minute walk from the gondolas as well as the shops and restaurants of Whistler Village. The Hilton’s location is convenient in both the winter and summer time for skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking.

About the Hotel

The Hilton Whistler offers many amenities in summer as well as winter. Most notably, the resort has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness centre, tennis court and nice outdoor courtyard with fire pits and barbecues. Conveniently, they also offer ski, snowboard, bike and golf valet services and equipment storage. There are 11 meeting rooms on-site for business purposes and a full-service Javanese style spa. Additionally, the hotel has 2 on-site dining options.

The fitness centre at the hotel is quite a nice one with a mix of weights and stationary running equipment. The outdoor swimming pool is also exceptional. When we went in the summer the water was nice and warm and the pool area was in the sun for most of the day. There was also drink service, so you didn’t even have to leave your deck chair! At the hotel there is also both an indoor and outdoor hot tub.

Cinnamon Bear Bar and Grill

The Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille is where you can start the day with breakfast and later have a more elegant dining experience for dinner. It’s a great spot for family/friend celebrations and casual get togethers. It is more of a traditional restaurant with table set-up.

The Cinnamon Bear Bar is next door and features a more relaxed setting that’s great for après with one of the best patios in Whistler – they get the longest amount of sun and have a large selection of tables! This venue is more of a bar/lounge and has 2 full-size pool tables and TV screens to watch sports.

If you don’t feel like leaving your room after a long day, the hotel has in-room dining available that includes items from both the grille and the bar available to order.

When we ate at the Cinnamon Bear Grille we had the salmon, chicken and lobster ravioli. They were all delicious and very nicely presented. For dessert we shared a sundae where we could add our choice of nuts, chocolates, candies and syrups from the buffet bar. It was quite the treat! For breakfast the next day we had their buffet breakfast which had a nice selection of eggs benedict, bacon, sausages, eggs, waffles, pancakes, pastries and fruit. Tea and coffee were also included.

Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa

The hotel is home to a Javanese-style spa called the Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa. The spa has won a variety of awards including a 2017 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. At the facility you can get a variety of services including massages, facials, manicures and pedicures.
