Whistler has a good selection of venues for dinner and fancier dining. Below is a selection of popular places organized by parts of town.
Village Centre Restaurants
- 21 Steps – a nice restaurant at 10-4433 Sundial Place that actually does have 21 steps!
- Mongolie Grill – a well-known restaurant that features grilled-to-order food at 201-4295 Blackcomb Way.
- Araxi Restaurant and Oyster Bar – a fancy place at 110-4222 Village Square that’s known for its seafood.
- Il Caminetto – a modern Italian restaurant at the Inn At Whistler Village at 4242 Village Square.
- Bar Oso – a Spanish restaurant famous for tapas at 150-4222 Village Square.
- Bearfoot Bistro – an upscale restaurant at the Listel Hotel at 4121 Village Green.
- La Brasserie – a French bistro-style restaurant with a nice outdoor patio at 4232 Village Stroll.

- The Brewhouse – a pub-style restaurant located close to the Whistler Olympic Plaza at 4355 Blackcomb Way.
- Quattro – the Italian-themed restaurant at the Pinnacle Hotel Whistler at 4319 Main Street.
- Hy’s Steakhouse – a fancy place known for steak in the Delta Marriott Hotel at 4308 Main Street.
- Alta Bistro – a French restaurant at 104-4319 Main Street.
Upper Village Restaurants
- The Mallard Lounge – one of the restaurants at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at 4599 Chateau Boulevard that’s known for its cocktails and live entertainment.
- The Wildflower – a family-friendly restaurant at the Fairmont Chateau at 4599 Chateau Boulevard.
- The Grill Room – another restaurant at the Fairmont Chateau at 4599 Chateau Boulevard known for steak and seafood.
- Table 19 Lakeside Eatery – a fancy place by the Nicklaus Golf Course and Green Lake at 8080 Nicklaus North Boulevard.
Creekside Restaurants
- Rimrock Café – an upscale seafood restaurant at 2117 Whistler Road.
- Red Door Bistro – a fancy French restaurant at 2129 Lake Placid Road.

For Casual Eats
Below is a list of popular places to get a snack or non-fancy meal. In addition to venues in the main part of Whistler Village, Upper Village and Creekside, we start with a couple of places at the very tops of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
At the Top of the Ski Hills
- Rendezvous Restaurant – located in the lodge at the top of Blackcomb Mountain, the place serves a selection of casual menu items ranging from soup and chili to pizza and burgers. Located within the Rendezvous Restaurant there is also Christine’s which is usually open for lunch in the summer and winter.
- Roundhouse Lodge – the resort’s largest restaurant is located at the top of Whistler Mountain at an elevation of 1850 metres (or over 6050 feet). It’s designed a bit like a food court where you can get a variety of menu items from the Expressway, Mountain Market and Pika’s.
- Crystal Hut – a restaurant in a log cabin at the top of Blackcomb Mountain that specializes in Belgian waffles. It is open only in winter during the ski season.
There are a number of other places to get food at the top of the ski hills in winter. The above three restaurants though are the largest and (usually) open year-round.
The Longhorn Saloon
Village Centre Restaurants
- Longhorn Saloon and Grill – a popular place for après-ski, the Longhorn is located right at the base of the gondolas at 4284 Mountain Square.
- Ohyama Ramen – a small but cozy place for Japanese food at 204-4000 Whistler Way.
- Palmer’s Gallery and Grill – the restaurant at the Whistler Golf Course clubhouse at 4010 Whistler Way.
- The Mexican Corner – a casual Mexican restaurant located at 12-4340 Sundial Crescent very close to the gondolas.
- Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar & Grill (GLC) – a popular restaurant with an outdoor patio where you can watch the mountain bikers returning to the village from up the mountain in the warmer months and skiers and boarders in the winter months.
- Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille – the bar and restaurant at the Whistler Hilton Resort & Spa in the Village Centre are nice places for both food and drinks.

Village North Restaurants
- El Furniture Warehouse – located at 4314 Main Street the place is known for its inexpensive food. Most food ranges in price from $5 up to $8 or $9.
- Peaked Pies – a popular Australian-inspired bakery and cafe at 105-4369 Main Street.
- La Cantina – located at 129-4340 Lorimer Road just off Main Street, this place offers tacos and other Mexican food.
- Pasta Lupino Gourmet Whistler – an Italian-inspired restaurant and deli at 121-4368 Main Street.
- Splitz Grill – a casual burger grill at 4369 Main Street.
- Elements Urban Tapas – the restaurant at the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel at 4359 Main Street.
- Sachi Sushi – a popular sushi restaurant at 106-4359 Main Street.
- Caramba Restaurant – a Mediterranean-themed restaurant at 12-4314 Main Street.
Upper Village Restaurants
- HandleBar Cafe and Apres – at 4557 Blackcomb Way, the place is known for its selection of craft beer.
- Milestones – a popular chain restaurant by the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at 4555 Blackcomb Way.
- Portobello – a casual restaurant that serves sandwiches and other light food at the Fairmont Chateau at 4599 Chateau Boulevard.
Creekside Restaurants
- Creekbread – a casual place known for its pizza at 2021 Karen Crescent.
