The Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler
Located within the Village North area at 4319 Main Street, the Pinnacle Hotel Whistler is a recognizable building with its bright green accents. The hotel is fairly close to the Whistler Olympic Plaza and about a 10-minute walk from the gondolas that take you up Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. When we stayed here, we really liked the place and can recommend it. It’s clean, comfortable and not over-priced compared to the competition.
Hotel Rooms at the Pinnacle
Rooms at the Pinnacle Hotel are studios, which means they come with a small kitchen area. This is most convenient as it allows guests to cook for themselves, or simply have cereal for breakfast, without having to eat every meal at a restaurant.
When we stayed, our room had a queen bed and a sofa. The kitchen had a microwave, dishwasher, sink, kettle, coffee maker and a pot and pan. Because of COVID-19, there were no utensils, cups or plates. Paper and plastic kitchen items like those were available though at the front desk free of charge, as were coffee and tea supplies.
The room we had was very nice. The bed was comfortable, and the sofa bed wasn’t bad (and what you’d expect from a pullout bed). The room also had a lovely gas fireplace, two tables and a couple of balconies. (Yes, that’s right, it had more than one small balcony!) Another really nice feature was the two-person Jacuzzi. An odd thing about it though was that the tub was in the main room, right beside the Queen bed, but also right next to the kitchen. It’s an awesome feature for a couple on their own. Not so useful though for parents with kids, or a group of friends, unless people use it with their swimsuits.
Amenities
The Pinnacle Hotel has several amenities available for hotel guests. There’s a small heated outdoor pool along with a hot tub. Right next to the pool is a small fitness room with a treadmill and an elliptical.
During the winter months the hotel offers on-site ski and snowboard rentals. There is also a shuttle to the mountain base (which is wonderfully convenient and means you don’t have to walk far in your ski boots).
All rooms in the hotel come equipped with a kitchen as well as a large whirlpool bathtub. There are also pet-friendly suites available (for an extra charge). The hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi in all rooms and common areas as well.
There is underground parking, which is convenient, especially on rainy and snowy days. Another nice thing about the parking is that you can keep your vehicle there for a while on your last day after checking out for no additional charge.

Pinnacle Hotel Restaurants
The Pinnacle Hotel Whistler is home to two really nice on-site restaurants: Quattro and Alta Bistro.
Quattro is a Venetian-themed restaurant. Operating in Whistler since 1996, the place serves traditional Italian food as well as dishes specific to the Venice region.
The Pinnacle Hotel’s second restaurant, Alta Bistro, is known for its French cuisine. The restaurant uses food from local suppliers to create French bistro dishes such as seared tuna and venison sausage. The place comes highly rated on TripAdvisor for its excellent customer service.
Pinnacle Hotel Video
The following short video clip shows what the hotel looks like from the outside as well as in the pool area. Not seen in the video, the Whistler Museum is just a few steps off to the right.
