Whistler’s Green River Whitewater Rafting
Ever wanted to go boating in fast-moving water? The Adventure Group offers exciting Whitewater Rafting experiences in Whistler. The tours take you and your group on fun rides through local rivers. Each tour features a world-class guide who ensures everyone’s safety and helps direct the boat.
The Green River experience is lots of fun! There are spectacular views to take in, as well as thrilling rides downstream. You and your friends, along with your guide, have to paddle the raft and navigate towards the destination. The rafts move quickly between forests while water splashes up and into the boat.
Rides can get rough and bouncy but that’s part of the experience. Tours begin and end at Sixteen Mile Creek Forest Service Road in Whistler. The total roundtrip lasts for about 2 hours.
There is also the Elaho/Squamish Rivers experience, which is much longer. This rafting trip lasts for 8 hours and travels through two of the biggest rivers in the region. While the experience starts and ends in the Whistler Village, there’s also the option to meet the guides partway through in Squamish if you’d prefer.
Tour Prices
As of the summer of 2024, there are two different Whitewater Rafting trips available. Admission for the Green River rafting is $155 per person, and it’s $185 per person for the Elaho/Squamish Rivers rafting.
Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh 90 pounds or more. Each ticket includes access to a wetsuit, floatation device and helmet, along with a couple covers for your shoes.
