An upscale 4-star resort, the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside Hotel is in the vibrant heart of Whistler Village close to skiing, shopping and dining.
Whistler’s Pan Pacific Hotels
The Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside is a luxury ski-in ski-out hotel. All of its rooms are suites with fully equipped kitchens. The property is located right beside both the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas, so many of the rooms and common areas have great views of the mountains.
Whistler Mountainside is one of two hotels under the Pan Pacific brand in the Whistler area. The other one, the smaller Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre, is just a 3-minute walk north of the larger hotel.
Where is the Hotel?
Located at 4320 Sundial Crescent, the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside is in the Village Centre area. The location is perfect for anyone hoping to explore the village’s many shops and restaurants, or to enjoy the mountains.
Just steps from the Pan Pacific are gondolas connected to both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Its fabulously convenient location makes the hotel especially popular with skiers and snowboarders. There is no need to take a shuttle bus to get to the ski lifts as is the case with many other Whistler hotels – you simply have to walk outside and across the plaza.
Facilities for guests include an all-season heated outdoor saltwater pool, a couple of hot tubs and a pool deck that overlooks the mountains. There’s also a fitness centre with cardio and weight equipment, along with a eucalyptus steam room.
Hotel guests in the winter have access to complimentary ski and snowboard storage. Summertime guests similarly have access to bike and golf storage. There is also a year-round complimentary in-resort shuttle service and free Wi-Fi.
Dining at the Hotel
The Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside is home to the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub. As the name suggests, food and drinks at the restaurant are Irish-themed. The place also hosts nightly live entertainment (at least when COVID-related health authority orders permit).
Dubh Linn Gate’s location beside the gondolas makes the restaurant a popular spot with skiers, snowboarders and mountain bikers. The bar features Happy Hour drinks and snacks which are much-needed after a long day on the slopes.
