Located in Whistler Village not far from the base of the ski hills, the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre Hotel is a luxurious and family-friendly resort.
Pan Pacific Whistler Village
With 83 guestrooms, the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre is a fairly large modern hotel. It’s not as big as the nearby Pan Pacific Mountainside Hotel, but the rooms are large and so the building itself is a good size. All of its rooms are suites which come equipped with full kitchens and fireplaces.
The hotel is also pet-friendly, so folk can bring their four-legged friends along for their stays. As of the last time we checked, about $5 or so of every pet fee charged goes to Whistler’s animal charity WAG (Whistler Animals Galore).
Hotel Location
The Pan Pacific Whistler Village is located at 4299 Blackcomb Way in the Village Centre area. It is one of two Pan Pacific properties in Whistler. The other Pan Pacific, which is the Mountainside location, is south of the Whistler Village location and closer to the gondolas.
As well as being in the Village Centre area, the Pan Pacific Village Centre is fairly close to the Village North area. This provides easy access to shops and restaurants in both Village North and Village Centre. The hotel is also located right on the pedestrian Village Stroll, which makes it convenient for walking around the town.
Hotel Amenities
The Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre has a number of amenities for hotel guests. Similar to its nearby sister hotel, the place has a year-round heated outdoor saltwater pool and two hot tubs. Also included is access to a small fitness centre with cardio equipment and a dry sauna.
The hotel usually provides a complimentary daily breakfast served until 10 am, as well as free Wi-Fi and an in-resort shuttle bus service.
Additionally, hotel guests have access to free gear storage. This includes ski/snowboard storage in the winter and golf and bike storage in the summer.
The hotel is also home to the Whistler Day Spa. It’s a popular spa offering a variety of treatments including massages.
Hotel Restaurants
The Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre is home to The Raven Room. There used to be another restaurant too, the Pacific Bistro, but it doesn’t appear to be there anymore. Whether that is a permanent change or just a temporary one, we’re not sure.
Pacific Bistro used to serve the hotel’s complimentary breakfast. It was a casual place open from 7 am until 10 am. Since COVID-19, the hotel still offers breakfast to all its guests. The food, however, is delivered via room service.
The Raven Room is a newer restaurant/cocktail bar. Dress code here is casual, and the place is open from 3 pm to 1 am. The menu changes based on what’s in season and the restaurant prides itself on its locally-sourced and ethically-produced ingredients.
This hotel is a member of the Green Key Eco-Rating Program and has a 4-Key rating.
